In recent years, legislation passed by the Environment Agency and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has made it mandatory for most oil storage facilities to include a secondary containment vessel such as a bund which is capable of storing at least 110% of the capacity of the largest tank or 25% of the total storage capacity, whichever is greater.
Bund walls are normally constructed from concrete, however where lighter applications are needed we can construct from block giving the bund a fiberglass lining.
